Would this also make your tank invincible? If so, then you could just drive and plow on ahead until you dropped the flag for some strange, odd reason. I agree with ducati in that the flag idea sounds great, but is not really playable.

Just move the tele about 2.5 units away from the wall.

As for the drivethrough wall, are you using a mesh or a normal box (or a meshbox)?

On the east coast, its 2:00 A.M. when it's about 3:00 P.M. in Austrailia. I don't think many people in the U.S. (even on the west coast) will still be playing bz. Is there a way you can add shading to a map? For example, say you want a source of light coming from a specific direction (like a lamp on a desk). In order to at least make it look realistic, you need to add shading. So, can you add it?

If you go into the options and edit the _jumpVelocity on the map, you can get the tank to jump as high as you want it. Now, you don't want anything crazy like _jumpVelocity 100, but having it set to 25 would still be reasonable and almost unnoticable.

In ctf though, you also have to worry about having your flag capped, which would blow any camper out of the water. The flag carrier would just have to hide in an empty bunker before the lasers strike. The campers would then have to leave their spots to chase the flag carrier down.

I think that this is a great idea. It would probably be better suited to be some sort of a ctf map, though, because with ffa you can just hide out in the "bunkers" and shoot anyone who enters them. Just a suggestion.

If you want to search for a specific variable, such as shot speed, type "/set _shot*". It will give you all the variables that start with _shot.

The fortunate thing is that when most Aussie players play, its after midnight in the U.S., when everyone has already said good night. Thus, the servers are less crowded and less lag will result.
