Displaying Map Settings (Gravity, Speed etc.)

Post by dextrosity »

I assume map creators or hosts/admins can alter gravity, tank speed, bullet speed and probably a lot of related settings. Is there a way to display these settings so that I can see if a server uses the default settings or not?

Type "/set" into the chat console.

This will display all the current values.

If you want to search for a specific variable, such as shot speed, type "/set _shot*". It will give you all the variables that start with _shot.

if you want to se the non-default settings on an established server, type
/diff
that will show you (most of) the settings that have been changed from default.
Take a look at my Defender game mode concept.

If he refuses to think, he courts disaster: he cannot with impunity reject his means of perceiving reality.
