Teleporters and Drive through walls

Can anyone answer these questions...

1- I've created 2 teleporters and linked them. 1 teleport is in a base and the other is jsut outside the base The teleporter inside the base is 1 of 2 exits. Now, for some reason it doesn't let me go through the teleporter but it does let me shoot through it. The bullet enters the teleporter and exits the other as my tank should aswell.

--Anyone know why?

2- The other way out of the base is a drive through wall behind it. Is there anyway to make it drive through on both sides?


EDIT: Nvm, the drive through wall works both sides now :)

Is the teleporter right in front of a wall? If so, that's why the bullet goes through, and the tank doesn't.

Yea it was, I did that to stop shoots on the outside coming in...

i have a problem simmilar where my portals dont let you teleport to the link

Just move the tele about 2.5 units away from the wall.

As for the drivethrough wall, are you using a mesh or a normal box (or a meshbox)?

Yea maybe there's a wall blocking the way. Well, that was the case in my situation.

Either that or just the link between the portals isn't done right. It took me a while to work out which way the tank entered and exited a portal.

Just a normal box. I don't know why it wasn't letting me in it was strange but it's all fixed now :)

Well actually, I fixed it then during my re-design I ended up getting rid of it completely :P Didn't make much of an impact considering noone knew it was there lol

There is a problem with teleporters being on top of meshes, or arcs.
The only fix I've been able to come up with is to put the tele on an old-style box.
Take a look at my Defender game mode concept.

I don't use meshes yet, don't know how they work :P Soon enough I will, Thx for the tip Optic D :D

Can you post the coding of the base and the teleporters?

Maybe the teleporter is partways in the base or not high enough.
