BZAdmin-taken over my Terminal (Mac OS)

Ive been running bzadmin using the Terminal utility.
Now, when ever i create a new shell, it auto runs bzadmin, seems that bzadmin has taken over terminal.
i need to use the Terminal for other things too, but i dont know how to get bzadmin from auto starting on my terminal. i just want the regular /bin/bash/login command.
I dont know much about unix, otherwise i wouldnt be writing this.

have you tried turning it off and on again?

you can quit bzadmin by typing '/quit' try that and then open a new shell.

Now, when ever i create a new shell, it auto runs bzadmin

Check the Terminal preferences. There are two options for auto-running things in there - so make sure it's on "default login shell" and "open saved .term..." is off.

Dunno what kind of shell MacOSX is running, depending on it, also check on entries in

bash: ~/.bashrc
csh: ~/.cshrc
tcsh: ~/.cshrc, ~/.tcshrc

and also under /etc some files that has to do with profile or profile.d

If you have never even touched those files, then probably the fault would not be there.

mine defaults to tcsh on my Dual G4 and bash on my iBook

This happened to me too when, being a foolish mac noob, I altered the
Terminal window settings in some way or other. I returned the Terminal
to its default settings by deleting this file:

~/Library/Preferences/com.apple.Terminal.plist
