Hunt some rabbit in Hop Hop

Post by Dutchrai »

My latest map has a really stupid name...I know. Tried to change it, but you try and explain that to a rabbit. Anyway, it's a map for rabbits, of course, so go chase'm Elmer Fudd! If I'm not mistaking this is my 24th map, meaning that the next one will be 25. Mmm...must do something special with that one

It's downloadable form Shell Shock, and also running on one of the Shell Shock game servers. See you there.

Nice job Dutch, though it looks a little hard on the playability around the middle, it is an overall good map :)

Hehe...think it's my editor. Super efficient. And I type fast. That of course helps, when your editor is Notepad. :?

As I have said before. I use Calculator, notepad, pybzedit, bzedit. I've made a world with notepad and Dutch has seen it. My train map. Took me awhile. But scorch I am to the same way I never got used to the notpad editor (In which that is the editor that will last as long as Bzflag map making does. It will be forever useful. For as long as dutch is making maps he will never have to download new software to make newer maps. Nice thinking Dutch.)

Lol guys. And yes, in the 2.0 release it'll be bye bye notepad for most part, a real 3d editor will be required in its stead. Never mind that...will set my teeth in one. Can't be more complex than the ones for UED (Unreal Tournament) and Radiant (Quake) right?

hehe...it's not that I dread 3d editors, used them plenty before. It's just that with the current mapping system of BZFlag text editing seems more efficient :-) Boxes and Pyramids...bah.

Here are some shots of a UT map I made ages ago, Dm-Agonizer:
cool shots

Mind you, this was 6 years ago, BEFORE curves were the 'in-thing'. And before Quake 3 was out boasting about them. Copycat.

See? So if we go 2.0, I'll happilly move to 3d Editors....
8) You build me a good one, I'll use it...mwuhahah!
