Chat Logging on Client

Post by GMMan »

I think it would be a great idea to include a logging feature in the BZFlag client because I really love to read those funny old moments (like the time that I made Rover Blaster really angry).

*Don't remember what to write next, so that's all for now*
I haven't touched BZFlag for years, but maybe sometime I'll make a comeback.

I'm on Twitter. And I mess with webOS. This signature is not a blog.

or you can just pick up the comics from the sunday paper ;)

The idea sounds OK i guess, right now the only way you can do it is BZAdmin

you need to use -echo

if your on OSX or linux, then you redirect to a text file.

if your on windows, it will log to stdio.txt in the bzflag dir.

I tried that option, though it logs everything. I just want the chat. I also want it in a custom folder (kinda like Windows Live Messeger chat logs).

Though I don't program C or C++... I do know BASIC (Just a bit and not enough to make a game).
