World Cache Files Disappear

Hi, i've been playing BZFLag for quite some time now (3 years), and have had no problems along the way. But recently, when i tried to connect to a server, it downloaded, but it said that the World Cache Files Disappeared-Join Cancelled. This happened to every server EXCEPT 1; The Two Castles. I am wondering, what are world cache files, why are they disappearing, and how can I get them back? Please Help!

you can try just clearing your cache, by throwing away the entire cache dir in your "my documents\my bzflag files" dir. sometimes they go bad.

Great! Works fine! Just curious though, what are world cache files?
