BZFlag Won't Start

Post by Think_Different »

Hi,
I "Inherited" an old PowerBook G3 333Mhz. I upgraded the RAM to 320mb and Installed Mac OS 10.2 on it. I downloaded BZ 2.0.4, but when i launch it, it goes into fullscreen for a second, then exits, then shows no smaller window, then is just not responding. I tried older versions, some of the older either launch like descibed above or just bounc in the dock and then go away, like nothing was happening. Any Ideas?

lower your screen res to the minimum. The old powerbooks and iMacs don't have the video hardware to run full screen.

no change your res in the apple controll pannel. change your desktop res down to 640x480, so that the game won't have to run in the larger res to start up.
