First of all, Welcome to BZFlag!!
Now that you've download it already, open it up like any other Application. After it loads you will see a menu, select "Join Game" and press enter. Enter in your callsign there (Stampede1319) and your password you used to sign-up here. Then go to: "Find Servers", press enter. There you will find many servers to pick from, some people have favorites too. Press enter on any single one. (my recomendation for newer people: Silvercat or Secretplace) Then do "Connect". Now you can start fragging other tanks, have fun!
EDIT: P.S.: If you want it to remember your callsign and/or password. Go to "Options" then "Save Identity". Use left and right arrow keys to pick if you want it to save your info. If it's a public computer or other people use it, beware.

There is a "place" under callsign, for your password.Stampede1319 wrote:hummm i did join game typed in stampede1319 but didn't see a slot for password, plus when i did find servers nothing came up
If you're on dial-up I would wait a few seconds for it too load... if it doesn't load then you may be behind a proxy. I'll see how to fix the proxy thing in a few moments... (will update this post)
EDIT: What OS are you using? Windows XP? Mac? Linux? Then I can tell you how to fix the proxy.

You don't need a password to find servers, but it is needed for something called "global login" or "global registration" - don't worry what they mean, but it is a good thing.Stampede1319 wrote:it just doesn't seem like putting your callsign and password consecutively right next to each other would seem correct because why would it need your password to find servers?
Here is where to enter the password:

There is no demo, you probably got an older version (maybe before global registration).Stampede1319 wrote:ok this download is taking longer than the other one, meaning i may have downloaded a demo the first time, we'll see if this version works
