I think somebody has accomplished this already. I saw this map that had pineapple trees and stuff. This guy wrote his name and it was flashing like a teleporter does.
Need bzflag help? Try looking here: http://www.freewebs.com/bznightmare/map ... aghelp.htm

1) I have tried using the spin command, but bzflag does not spin it at
all.
2) If you read the help page (http://www.bzflag.org/wiki/MapMaking) it does not mention this, but one of the help files showed a command in the teleporter code to make a teleporter horizontal. It also said that this feature was not yes implemented.
I have not heard that this feature has been implemented as it could cause problems. Never ending cycle, ect.
Someone correct me if this is not true
all.
