Who-'s map pack now on my site!

Post by Supertanker »

I just uploaded, on who-'s request, a map pack of most of the maps that he has made. Please note that the map "city.map" is not in the map pack, due to the need for correcting this problem:

box name box position 5 5 5 rotation 0 size 8 8 8 end pyramid name pyramid position -5 -5 -5 rotation 0 size 8 8 8 end box name box position 5 5 5 rotation 0 size 8 8 8 end pyramid name pyramid position -5 -5 -5 rotation 0 size 8 8 8 end box name box position 5 5 5 rotation 0 size 8 8 8 end pyramid name pyramid position -5 -5 -5 rotation 0 size 8 8 8 end box name box position 5 5 5 rotation 0 size 8 8 8 end pyramid name pyramid position -5 -5 -5 rotation 0 size 8 8 8 end box name box position 5 5 5 rotation 0 size 8 8 8 end pyramid name pyramid position -5 -5 -5 rotation 0 size 8 8 8 end box name box position 5 5 5 rotation 0 size 8 8 8 end pyramid name pyramid position -5 -5 -5 rotation 0 size 8 8 8 end

This is not the actual map file. Until I restore the proper syntax, the map will have to be left out.

The free mac compiler MPW is the best text editor there is

It can open ANY file and it saves very small (few resources)

while Windows has the worst editors I've seen (microsoft word is pretty
nice... I guess that's why you can get it with panther )

word can screw up maps.

get an editor that supports unix text files.

maps do NOT have to be in windows text format to work.

Um, from the mouth of a mac game developer...
Use .txt (text format).

I use TextEdit for my maps. (in BZFlag and in Shards)

And if you want to create dynamic webpages (css, javascript, etc. etc.)
DONT USE Microsoft word!!! USE Notepad!!!

Many professional web builders WILL AGREE!!!!

And yes, microsoft word 2000 is great, it is what i used to make my first webpage before i found Nvu
I use PageSpinner (it rocks!!!), it is not a wysiwyg editor it is a text editor
but has syntax colouring and templates (like mouse-over...).
(IT ROCKS!!!)

Okay, do you honestly think im stupid enough to use msword to make files that need plain ASCII text? I created MS-DOS batch files for crying out loud! not to mention NSIS scrips, BASIC, and a little HTML.

please stay on topic. I don't realy care what types of files you've made.

you want to find an editor that does unix text files.
