CTF Bases

Post by Spaceman Spiff »

Okay... I am currently making my first serious CTF map... and I am wondering, is there some reason why all of the CTF bases are automatically red, and you can't save them as any other color?? When I change the color and hit "Apply" and then leave and come back to the base, it is red again. I'm using BZEdit 1.5.9f7. Help??

I just use a text editor myself, not sure what issues you're having with the map editor. But open the file up in notepad, there should be a line stating what color the base is:

color 1 = red
color 2 = green
color 3 = blue
color 4 = purple

example:

#!name red base
base
position 0 0 0
rotation 0
size 20 20 0
color 1
end

that's one of the Apply bugs I've seen, haven't had time to look at it yet. Been working, and now Baka has eaten itself. so I need to redo the server. I'll get to looking at it as soon as I can. I'd post the code if baka was up :(

Gee.. that's too bad man. :( Thanks for the help though! For now, I've gone into the text and edited the bases.. they appear as the right colors now, but when I click on the green base it still says that it is red. LoL. Thanks again for the help! :)

Oh.. and thanks for the help bamf. ;)
