Uh... I like making maps resembling the real world, with building structures and roads and sidewalks... the only map I made was based off those ideas.

My next map was going to be a nanotank map. I've been gathering models for making a desktop (stapler, tape dispenser, coffee cup, pencil holder, keyboard, monitor, mouse, desk lamp, printer, etc. The idea was to make these large enough to have to play around them, but keeping the world size reasonable. You're welcome to the idea if you find it of interest.

Actually, toaster raises an issue that I've been trying
to work on. The new file format makes it easy to use
other peoples' models. I'd like to start up a collection.
So far, I've got rocks, lousy rocks. Some basic object
like trees, bushes and buildings would make fine
additions. Collecting some general use textures is
something else I'm trying to do. For the most part, I'd
expect them to be tileable, and definitely free of any
copyright encumbrance.

I don't quite understand, are these chess pieces
that you are refering to? Are they built out of boxes
and pyramids? The library I'm hoping to build will
consist of mainly mesh objects, that look a little more
realistic then objects built with the current boxes and
pyamids.

Hey Trepan,

Just noticed "/me" is missing from the (html) manpage between "/vote" and "/msg". The explanation text is there, the heading is not.

Regards,
EB

Out of ideas you say? Nah! Wait for my next one (The Abyss), which will feature a lethal meteorite shower.

I'd say a maze is a good idea, one loaded with booby traps, etc. But then again, people would want to shoot tanks... :?

Im with you. It takes alot of skill to make a great map with the old stuff when we have circles, moving sidewalks, and ex. That means if we "Ol Mnakers" succeed we will be the best there ever was.
