A couple of years ago, I'd say 6-8, now I kind of hover around 3-5. I think it just takes a little work to get back into it after a break.
Namaste.

i can really only comment on about two maps for me, but dublar 5-6? geez low confidence. some things not noticed though are the level of play at gu is probably much higher than the level of play at pillbox. another is are we going by what score you can get or what your flag capping ability is as well. anyway:
pb-9
gu-8
pb-9
gu-8

0/10 right now.. but slowly getting better, I get a lot more kills in now, when I concentrate, take it easy, don't let the target's superiority phase me I can even take out a good few veteran players with a little bit of strategic thinking and, of course, a LOT of luck.
I'd say on average, just normal CTF maps, I get one kill in for every 2-3 deaths I receive.
So I'm always in the minus scores, I'll always have 40 deaths, 20 kills, 60 deaths, 30 kills, 100 deaths, 50 kills etc.
So, until I start staying in the positive numbers... I consider myself a 0/10
I find it very interesting that people rate themselves a 8/9 etc because of "they use Geno a lot" or other flags.....
..I'd have thought real skill and really being good would mean, being able to be victorious in a normal, no jumping, no flags, tank battle.
I bet a lot of the people who just go for the superflags would be slaughtered in a proper no-cheating battle.
Also the people really good at a proper no-cheating tank battle, no jumping, no super charged weapons would do really bad at, say... MW2, because they just wouldn't be used to tanks flapping wings around, having springs attached to their tracks or ghost tanks taking a stroll through solid structures.
I suspect what I say is true, because I try playing on both kinds of maps. I really love MW2, I also really love the pillbox maps, no flags, no jumping, and when I've played one for a few hours, I get slaughtered in the other, and after a few hours of playing I get good at that one, too, switch.. and suddenly suck at the other because I'm still deploying the other map's tactics out of habit.
But yes, the ones who say they're 7/8/9 just because they use super charged weaponry and hop around, I'd love to see them take on someone who's used to playing a proper, fair, mano-et-mano tank battle.

It depends on a lot of things...like the map and how good my teammates are or if it's a ctf. Maybe a 3-4 on FFA servers but on ctf about 5-6 I think.
Like everyone else I have my good and bad days. Sometiemes I might get
-15 but the next day I get 25 really quick. I normally don't get very high scores because I don't stay on for long.

whatever those lux0rs (hobo for one is a self-proclaimed lux0r) may say, pwnage speaks louder than words and -save extreme conditions- they will always be on the wrong end of it.Grace F wrote:I'm sure Avatar, Hobo, Pax and a few others might have something to say to that.
