flag error thingy

I was on Duchrai's Sandblaster2 and i picked up PZ, and then got shot by "jo mama" and someone got shot by "jo mama" as well, but it reported that i got shot with superbullet, and the other person was shot by a normal bullet. "jo mama" did not drop a flag in between kills. screenie attached.
I am using build: 2.0.9.20070311-DEVEL-linux-gnu-SDL (0026)

Looks to me like the message lagged, not uncommon...

I thought that it said the "special" message only on your first kill with that weapon. Examples...

"... was fried by ...'s laser"

"... felt the effects of ...'s shock wave"

"... was skewered by ...'s super bullet"

Is this true? Because if it is, that's probably the reason.

Actually, he did. Look up a few rows, and down a few rows...

"jo mama: picked up super bullet"

"jo mama: dropped super bullet"

oh, well it's not supposed to only mark the first shot of a flag with the special thing. I think whats happening is that the first shot that killed the other guy was shot before he picked up the flag... heh, makes sense now...
