I didn't keep track of the numbers either but I was in there for quite a few hours before Spiff showed up. I had in excess of 1000 lost packets. Is this number shown then in lagstats a total number of packets lost over the total time played? And I understand that is the second set of numbers display...

hehe, windows habit..I just rebooted my system. Must of been something funky with the NFS shares I set up. If anybody knows how to fix my rc.firewall problem though that would be great! Otherwise I think I will go find another GUI program to do it for me.

I never even desired to do such a thing. Heck, after playing with bots on the home server, I have no desire to use them anymore. They are nothing compared to the bots in Tribes2. Dunno why I mention T2, once I found bz I pretty much quit playing T2

It works now! At least it works on my test system! And wouldn't you know it, all it took was the easiest one....rpm -ivh I remember having problems before on 1.7e6, so I just skipped the .rpm's and went straight for the source for 1.70g (what is up with the format change?) Used rpmdrake to uninstall it with - same way it was installed - rpmdrake.

Still no go;

and so I checked bin to see if it was there and...
