Well, I find it fun when I'm st, sneak up behind someone and through them just a bit, then back up and shoot them. Always a good nerve check for them.
Should it do it? Probably not, but it's the way the game works right now.

There are a lot of sites where you can run bandwidth tests.

If you look back, you will find lots of threads and discussions on scoring CTF. There haven't been any changes to the CTF scoring system in a long time. If nothing else, there probably needs to be a serious consensus about how scoring would be best before we could convince the dev community to chang...

It's part of the fun. It's bad enough that the team flag gets colored on radar. I seriously hope that was in jest.... Yes, jest, but the radar does make it rather easy to find the team flag carriers. I was serious about the scoreboard thing, though. The scoreboard already does color for the team fl...

Keep in mind that this is an international mix of servers. It's anarchy by definition. There is NO system which would or could apply to this fairly by everyone's standards. DTRemenack, I like the idea of the KKK and/or Al-Queda running bzflag servers. It would keep them busy doing something more con...

Re: Hide objects from radar
Is there any way to prevent an object from appearing on the radar? I'm creating a map entirely contained in a room above the ground, and the floor of the room is hiding everything else on the radar. Just put # signs on the lines in front of the objects in your map file. Then they won't show up on r...

Another curious topic is that the '/poll ban' can do only if the IP adress of offender is known. Typically, when you can see the IP you can also at least shortban... I could have sworn that /poll ban uses the callsign as the player identifier, not the IP, thereby allowing non-admins to run it. ??????

Yes, all polling options default to on. Oh. My opinion: it would probably be best to set only the kick option on by default, all the rest off. /poll reset has not been implemented. Do people think this would be a good thing to have, to ease changing things back to defaults, or would it just cause a...
