BZFlag Plugin Template
This is a basic outline template for developing BZFlag plugins. I often find it tedious to type the same starting things over and over, so here are the basics, a little more than what the SAMPLE_PLUGIN provides, and a few comments that have some starter code for various things. I found it annoying t...

Re: absence of a US 1vs1 server
Does anyone have any information why ahs3's 1vs1 servers have gone down? They were a great addition to the 1vs1 server arsenal.

Re: Turret map.
Would someone who was collecting these maps to keep an archive for their own personal use then be "legal"? In a sense, a lot of maps would be considered useless without all their fancy settings, but someday when someone wishes for it to be recreated, it is that much easier to make happen. ...

Re: Turret map.
What about maps hosted on their own servers without open source licenses? I don't know the exact technical details about it, but as far as I know you can go on any map and save that world locally. Since this is allowed, it can be used without problems. As far as distribution goes, I think that itse...

Re: Plugin Request Thread
mahem1 has told me via Private Message that the VIP plugin is now approved. This concludes development of the VIP plugin , however I am waiting for whoever needs a plugin next! One more thing I would like to mention, as it was one of mahem1's requests is that there is no way to auto-hunt players. In...

Plugin Request Thread
I have had a numerous amount of requests to create plugins and have done so and felt the need to provide my service to the public, since my queue is now completely emptied. This thread will be used for all plugins others would like to request from me. In order to ensure plugins that function exactly...

how do you link teleporters that are in a group. And the wiki is pretty vague about the '*' character in links. How does that character work? You have to know a bit about wildcard characters to understand that. A "*" character means anything that can fit with the other specified parameter...

Zac, BZB is bacicly dead the only active player is Mopar Madness. But, good luck. First off, it is only dead because players do not use it for things like this. What if every single match you have ever played in or seen played was done in this manner? This would lead to a lot of scheduled matches a...

Sure, I'll let you be owner, just give me $60.00 a month and we'll call it a deal... On a more serious note, what joevano said is correct. From the way you are presenting yourself, to the attitude you have shown to us in game and on the forums the chances of your request occurring is maybe -10% if y...

Not really. You along with your so called others find it disgraceful. If everyone found it disgraceful, it would be abandoned. Unlike what you wish to make of BZFlag, that is not what they are doing. They will run it however they want, regardless of whether you find it disgraceful or not. I do not u...

If you do not like it, don't go to that server, it's really that simple. The server itself has been known to always do that and nothing can prevent it. Have you even taken a look at other threads? Reminds me exactly of this one: http://forums.bzflag.org/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=17868 I suggest you re...

Re: Rejected Flags
Lasers can be dodged using some common sense. See where they are aiming, if they're not aiming at you, shoot and pray. If they face you, jump, hopefully onto a block. Sometimes lag can help you survive and get an extra shot in. Guided Missiles can be avoided by facing perpendicular to the shooting d...

Re: Need some Help over here.
Because tanks are required to spawn on surfaces, therefore you cannot force them to spawn in the air. If you set a spawn zone in mid air, it will look from there and then go down until it find a surface within that zone to spawn the tank on. Forced airspawn only occurs when there is no safe surfaces...

I just feel it may not catch on if there's not another way to kill someone other then mines. mines hold your attention for so long before it gets a little old. Yep, it's going to get pretty boring. I modified the plugin (Don't ask me for it though) to have one phantom zone bullet appear in the midd...

Re: "Trainer" map suggestion box
As a recommendation, and I don't want this to become too complex, is hand out flags once they are in tank versus tank mode and messages will pop up explaining how it can be used. Flags will alternate randomly to allow players to learn the various flags too. I think adding this to the training map wi...

Look ChaoticFangUp, what you are asking to do is to basically get help (Or have someone do it rather) with making a plugin. The fact that you do not know what to do or how to use plugins is going to be a large problem to start with. I am hoping that you understand this actual setting is not supposed...

Re: DON'T LET BZFLAG DIE!! PLEASE READ THIS
A youtube channel I don't think would be popular unless the game was popular, what BZFlag needs is individuals to make videos which can become popular, especially would be good if there are some popular youtubers that play BZFlag that can introduce their subscribers to it. This can also include &qu...

Re: Changing windowed mode size?
Running BZFlag in windowed mode is simply a matter of specifying argument parameters when running BZFlag. The particular one you are looking for is -window . You can see more info about this via the bzflag docs: http://sigonasr2.servegame.org/uploader/multi-file-uploader/uploads/bzflag.html In order...
