Aquatic Dispute [Atlantis]

Post by meeba »

Well, it seems that the friendly residents of Atlantis have started arguing again, but this time with tanks! Please join one of the four arguing groups (they all have unique colors) and help end this dispute once and for all time.

When you enlist to help out, you will be transferred to your group's headquarters.

Image

To leave the headquarters and move to attack, drive onto one of the yellow caution squares and jump. You will be lifted up to the transfer station, where you are carried to the middle of the city.

Once you're inside the caution boxes, jump up again, and you will be lifted to the main part of the city, where most of the fighting occurs.

However, despite the fighting, there is another objective to accomplish here. Each group has hidden a sacred object on the map... it is marked with a flag in that group's color. You must find the flag and bring it back to your base! Just work your way over to a corner of the battle arena...

... and then drop down through the base entrance.

Now, repeat the process for moving around, and take the flag back to your base!

Good luck!

Oh, and one final view of the map...

Pleast don't fall in the water.

Alright, so that's that. The map is being released under the GPL license. Feel free to use it and modify it as you wish, just be sure to give me some credit here. :)

At this time, I cannot host the map, so if someone else can, that would be most excellent!

Enjoy, guys.

EDIT: Map name changed due to me previous ignorance of another map with the same name. Sorry about that.

Just tried it out, it's a cool design. Although I think it could turn into a camping fest in the middle where everybody comes out at. Still, good work.

Oof! I did not know this... well, let's just call this one The Battle of Atlantis then... if that's alright. If nothing else, it can be Battle at Sea.

I have a simple solution to this... here's a new version.

New update, featuring a SW world weapon every 30 seconds at the top, and warning lasers at the bottom of the center elevator.

I found it really hard to get between levels :P

Oh, can you change, or move the WW so it doesn't extend into the tunnels. It was taking me ages to get to the last level because I'd get stuck and then blown up :P

Kewl map anyhow! :D

Shouldn't be getting stuck there... You do have to get right in the middle of where the elevators are, though.

EDIT: Oh. ShockOutRadius defaults to 60. That would be why you get hit. Here you go.
