Re: Arcs
You would be using the spin function of your arc:
Would spin the arc on it's z access 90 degrees, one time. This function is repeatable, allowing you to spin in more than one direction.
Code: Select all
spin 90 0 0 1

There is one main way to increase the number of individuals who willingly play on a readily accessible map: Make the map fun to play on. A few secondary ways to increase player exposure to a map and retain players are: 1. Post the map to the forum's Map Releases section. 2. Exercise word of mouth st...

This is very similar to an idea that was already suggested on the wiki. It went by the name of ILlusion: Opposing players see 2(?) fake copies of your tank at constant random offsets from your real position (if they are shot, either nothing happens or the fakes disappear?) It was rejected with the c...

I am currently working ona map and i have the wrong world size. Is there anyway to resize everything at once? If you want to change the world size, use the world object in your map file: world name xxx size xxx end If you want to re-size all of the objects in your map file at once, you need to defi...

... But I digress. Just to clarify, I'm not trying to say an implementation like this wouldn't be harmless. What I am saying is that the benefits would not be significant enough to make it worthwhile, especially since anyone can just turn the scoreboard off. _____________________________________ I t...

If that is all you did, you would not benefit from this at all. But, what if I was someone who NEVER got any team kills. I did everything in my power to make sure I never killed anyone on my team. Then the tk listings wouldn't count for me? The analogy is not quite kosher because the reason for peo...

What's the point? The reason for having a CTF game is to employ a team effort. Rewarding individuals for team accomplishments doesn't make sense. In a roundabout way, you could conceivably be providing an added incentive for team killing. If a player who isn't good enough to kill those on the oppos...

The problem is, you're not changing the situation; you're only emphasizing it at its logical extremes. You say it would add a challenge to the game? You are right. The person who has a score 50 more than other players has this score for a reason: It's because the player with the best score has the m...
