You must change the BZFlag source code and then you must it compile....

Compiling under Windows: http://links-clan.net/howto_compilebzflag.php

CVS Download under Windows: http://links-clan.net/howto_cvs.php

greetings
Dest :)

Well, It looks nice but I guess it sucks not being able to turn at full speed or to move forward/backward whilst turning at max angVel.

The question is if they really changed the behaviour and how the tank reacts to mouse-movements or if its just a cosmetical change which renders a circle instead of a rectangle.

If they have just changed the geometry of the box, I don't think the handling is effected.

Logistically, think of your old square mousebox, fitting around the new round mouse box. I can't think of any significant effect. And besides, the mouse is not constrained within the mouse box. so, if your mouse cursor is in the uper left corner of your screen, you will still be making a full power left turn while driving forward at full speed, regardless if your mouse box is round or not.

@ ducktape and Tropican8:

Sure this patch work on any OS ( Windows, Mac, Linux) you must only change the Source Code... Its easy i think... and then you must cimpile bzflag... i hope you know how you compile bzflag under Linux....
