Scoreboard tweak

Note the red/yellow/green that indicates whether you've killed someone more or fewer times than they've killed you. ;)

And a couple of other tweaks to make things easier to spot on the scoreboard :)

Wow. Thats awesmome l4m3r. They should implement that into the next version (whenever that will be...). Its a good way to get an idea on how you're playing against certain people without having to read it accually. You just look at the colors (yes im lazy  ).

Yes please create a patch if you can for all of us. Well it might help if we knew if this was for Linux/Windows/Mac/Etc. :-P

It's okay... :|

Dark Zodiac
If L4m3r didn't use OS specific code, it would support all platforms that BZFlag supports. Considering that BZFlag's internal API handles all this stuff, I would figure he did. :)

I think it is problematic having the colour hints in team colours, other than that it looks nice to me.

What does the cyan highlighting of certain flags mean?

It just replaces the white highlighting on the stock scoreboard for powerful flags. Obviously white highlighting doesn't mean much when all the normal text is white already anyway. ;) I thought about changing it to orange to make it stick out more...

Oh, I forgot to mention... as you can see in the screenie, your scoreboard line is cyan (as opposed to white). Also (but not pictured), players who are paused or NR are shown in gray.

I'm too lazy to make a patch (and using Windows at the moment), so I'll just post the relevant file. This was not written with release in mind, so keep in mind it's lacking comments and rather messy. Do as you please with it. scoreboardRenderer.cxx belongs in src/bzflag.

If anyone (devs) want me to refine any of this and see what I can do to add it to 2.1, just ask...

[The extension cxx has been deactivated and can no longer be displayed.]

ScoreboardRenderer.h was not changed. You can use/read a stock one from CVS.
