Hi,
Using keyboard-control I noticed that I cannot make a backward-jump while
spinning counter-clockwise, while clockwise backward-jumping works fine.
In detail:
- I press the backwards-key, then right cursor-key, then jump.
-> works fine.
- I press the backwards-key, then left cursor-key, then try to jump.
-> tank does not jump.
Is this just my problem or is anybody else having the same ?
Thanks for any hints,
Pommes
keyboard-control-bug ?

The problem's your keyboard. What key have you bound to jump?
When I played with the keyboard, I had the number pad 0 key set to jump, so I could control my movement with one hand. This worked fine on my regular keyboard, but on almost every other one I tried I couldn't turn and jump in one direction, because the board happened to be incapable of sending the 0 key signal while the arrows were held.
Try a different jump key.

Thanks Workaphobia! I usually use space to jump.
If I take "Tab" then jumping backwards while spinning works fine in both directions.
However I got very used to the space-key - does somebody know how I can
make any jump-key to work properly?

I don't think that's possible. It's a hardware limitation that stems from the way the keys are wired internally. It has something to do with all the buttons being on a grid of switches, and when the grid forms an "L" shape it fails to recognize it properly.
