Won't Start

Post by gibbylinks »

I've installed and tried both versions 2.0.2 & 1.10.8 and can't get either version to start. I get a black screen for a few seconds and then it returns to windows.
  • I have tried to find info by searching the forums but no joy.
There is no config file in the bzflag folder in my documents.
I have also tried re-installing both versions & removing the bzflag folder in my documents.
I am running WIN XP with SP2 and have Norton Internet Security Installed.
My documents folder is on a seperate drive to windows.
I have Direct X 9c & the latest Nvidia Drivers installed.
It works on my Linux !!!! :? :? :? :?

Try running with debugging turned on (-d) and see what you get. You can also heighten the level of debuggin with extra d's: -d -dd -ddd -dddd.

Tried deleting the bzflag folder in my documents, no joy.

As for reinstalling windows, isn't that kinda drastic !!!!

Try installing the latest Nvidia drivers for your graphics card.
