I have started to make a Monopoly Board...
I ahven't done a lot yet and I won't be doing a lot more untill after my exams which end near the end of the month...

What board do you all want? I know there are loads, including a Welsh one, a Coronation Street one and somehwere on the net is "Chavopoly"... hehe.

Get back to me with all your ideas and suggestions folks.

P.S. I actually might try to get this done this month so I can enter it in HepCats map contest...

A regular, standard, non-gimmick one. At least at first.

You can stacks of monopoly money laying around, playing pieces everywhere.

Make the "Go to jail" corner a death trap.

Use the board itself as the ground... but to where you can read where you are. So when you say "He's at St. James Place" you can read the proprty.

Houses and hotels everywhere...

I'm full of ideas (among other things) I'll post more as I think of 'em

I was gonna put hotels and houses, and the basic map seems best...
I like the idea of the jail... too.

I heard about this before in another thread, maybe make the Community Chest and Chance card areas... umm... bouncy, for lack of a better word. =) I'm not much of a map maker.

I started making a board and tinkering with some ideas last week. Thats all.
I hope to get more done at the end of the week.
Next week i have 2 exam's which means, even more time to map and the week after that only 1...
So It should be in by the end of the month...
In time for the hepcat contest.

Someone else, please take over... I have done hardly anything so far and I have 2/3 other maps I am working on. Plus I could never make any of the pieces myself.

I would do this, but I would have to figure out Wings3D.

i might beable to do this, MIGHT most likely i'll get stuck with the houses and stuff cuz i only know enough about my 3d modelers to make simpale thingys

When i first started this post, TD-Linux also offered to help make some pieces...

What kind of pieces do you want? I think I'd be able to make some(If you think my modelling skills are good enough ). After all...

Well... I can make pieces, but now that others volunteered, I won't. My models are sloppy, high polygon, broken, stray-polygoned messes. Have fun with the map, those who can manage WIngs better than I!

hmm, maybe you should make the card stacks in the middle of the board also.

i was planing to do that, and to put random mony and peices all over the place, like a game just ended and the loser wrecked the bord. i will also make a map when the game just started.

How about one also when the game's still in progress? Like hotels and houses set up, pieces in different places, and such?
