Why can't i see a list of servers????

Why can't i see a list of servers?

I have dialup, but i thought bzflag could still work with dailup

When i use the internet and i search for things it finds the webpage in less than 5 seconds

So, if anyone could tell me why the list of servers wont come up, please do.

Perhaps the list server was down briefly and you couldn't connect? It happens sometimes..

Is the server down right now cause it wont load my servers either when i go to Find servers

my friend is having the same problem and he has dial up.

Does anyone one have dialup and can tell me if there bzflag works on dialup?

try running bzflag doing:

Code: Select all

bzflag -list http://my.BZFlag.org:81/db/

perhaps your problem is because a proxy

bzflag dosn;'t know if your on dialup or what. If your dialup is running one of those "web accelerators" you may have problems. Since all they are is caching proxy servers like manu mentioned. Do what he sugested to get around it, or don't use the accellerator.

Where do i type that info in?

Do i type it into explorer?

Or do i put that info in Bzflag folder somewhere?
