2.4.0 - "OpenBroadcast" error 10013

I actually posted this in the #bzflag IRC channel but got no response. :-P

I just upgraded to 2.4.0 on Win7 and it's saying "OpenBroadcast" error 10013
any ideas? Can't connect to MOTD or serverlist

To be more technical it is Windows 7 Home Premium x64.
Upon further investigation, if it had been a "socket error: 10013" it may have been my firewall . However, it is not my firewall and the old version of BZFlag 2.0.16 works perfectly to this day... So....

Any way of debugging this? Thanks in Advanced.

After testing this more myself I have finally determined it to be a UAC issue. Older versions of BZFlag didn't require to be administrator... for some odd reason this one does. o_O
So right click, Run As Administrator, and it works. Of course if a buffer overflow hits me now it's fair game for a virus... but oh well.

It works fine for me (Windows 7 64-bit) without running it as an administrator. Something is screwy with your setup. What firewall and anti-virus software do you have on the computer?

Comodo Internet Security Firewall and AVG Free Antivirus. I have tested disabling the firewall but it makes no difference.
(It is of-course remotely possible Comodo isn't obeying me and/or conflicting. This was the case with Hedgewars recently)

When you disabled the firewall, did you also disable Defense+ and the sandboxing? There's three parts. That firewall's components can be rather aggressive.
