PTF (Plant The Flag) is a new game mode where you try to capture the enemy
team bases by planting one of your flags on their base. The initial PTF map that
ahs3 and I have created has three teams.
The PTF map is currently running on bzbattleground.com:5585, courtesy of ahs3.
Here are the extra features available on the PTF map:
- your team flags make you go faster
- enemy team flags make you go slower
- the black hexagons are horizontal teleporters tunnels back to your base
- all players in a team's zone are teleporter home when that team's base is captured.
- bonus points are awarded for base captures
- each team gets two team flags

- walls
- corner bases and ledges
- hexagonal teleporters
ahs3:
- the central structure
- gold trimmed pyramids

Anyways, I like that Idea and that in fact some people are realizing it. Amazing job, keep it on!

Nice job on the map, I myself find the concept to be interesting. Unfortunately I wasn't able to play with many yet, but I got a few people to join me and we had some fun.
I like the ideas and those were very fun.
(By the way trepan, I remember there was a veldrv test you had up for awhile, was that using a modified bzfs? I thought that was pretty neat.)

The veldrv plugin does not require a modified bzfs, but it will not work
on windows machines because of linking issues. The team flag speed
changes are based on the same principal, they just use a different trigger.
The flag based speed change technique could also be used to setup
different penalties and bonuses for any flag; you could have slow GMs,
fast JM, etc... You could also vary the _radarLimit variable per-player, and
possibly several other properties (although some you can't change per-
player because of gameplay consistency issues).
