That is because Missile Wars is made up of multiple meshes. where the guy is standing is in between the top of one shape and the bottom of another.

This is a rather rare occurrence so don't count on it while you are playing.

I have also seen this in castle warfare and one of my own maps.

I think it has to do with overlapping objects

It's sometimes caused by inside points being slightly off center, not sure if that is what's happening in this case.
Could also be an isolated vertex.
Take a look at my Defender game mode concept.

Thinking is not an automatic process. A man can choose to think or to let his mind stagnate, or he can choose actively to turn against his intelligence, to evade his knowledge, to subvert his reason. If he refuses to think, he courts disaster: he cannot with impunity reject his means of perceiving reality.

Actually, in this case, it is quite easy to get this to happen. There is a certain technique you can teach yourself. ;)

what I think is happening is that the tank goes a little bit "inside" the wall when it goes into a corner, and stands on top of the box.
The same way it is possible to get stuck or jammed in a very tight corner (like two boxes making a V)

no inside points are slightly off, just make 2 boxes, texture them, then stack them one on top of the other, you will get the same effect.

This mesh is off in 2.3, you cant stand there anymore.
Ducatinwannabe fixed it in 2.3 for better visible flag
