A 3 Team version of the Ducati League maps. I made this one by hand, but i may work out a script to generate this automatically, to keep the map changing.
Its up at bzbattleground.com:5050
give it a try

Very cool idea. This map will "up" the difficulty of the no-jump process due to more players. Great idea and good job ahs3!

Looks amazing, time for me to learn some new ricos
Ahs3, once again you've taken a standard 2 team CTF and changed it to a 3 team CTF amazing work.

That's really good! It would be nice to make a script to generate a random map of that style so that someone can't get too good on one map. I doubt this will really catch on though, 3-team CTF maps tend to not be too popular in the long run.

A script would be nice that way each new/random map makes a challenge for each team. In some random maps, one teambase may be exposed more than others...

I like the script idea. I was thinking about this earlier today.

I always thought if a CTF map was randomized, the map would remain symmetrical to keep fairness amongst teams. I've found that only one map has pulled this off and that was based on a war where one side defended from land, and the other had to cross water. I apologize I have forgetten the name, but that map worked quite well. I believe many of the top BZ Map makers took part in its design.

Thank you all for the great comments.

I remember that I think it was the "Battle of Normandy", great map

Grace F A three-team CTF is to hard to be made symmetrical. I would think that random buildings would be best...

If you open the map file he grouped the map and rotated it 2 more times to make it symetrical. If it is random then there could be a extra block to hide behind or protecting the base.

I have made Tricati random. Basically I made 18 versions of tricati and put it on a rotation server, that changes every 3 days. The script is such I can add more versions, and I plan to.
It was the most requested update to the map. So have at it, more Tricatis for more fun

Oh man, I made a PHP script that could randomly generate a 3-team CTF map. I wonder if I still have that anywhere, I could patch that up and send it your way, ahs3.
