Recently I decided to take the plunge and see what Wings 3d is all about. This is the result- a battle on the moon, complete with lunar rover, lunar lander, rocks, craters, and a flag. There are a few other surprises that you'll find if you explore it.
All and all, I'm pretty happy with how it turned out, because this was originally just a test to figure out how Wings works.

Fixed the invalid mesh faces problem, and changed the landscape around a bit to (hopefully) make playability better.

Meh, been there, done that. BZFS does'nt like thin faces. (As in really thin faces, like paper) The best way to fix them is to go back to your model,Jefenry wrote:I think I'm finished adding things to it, although bzfs says there are some "invalid mesh faces."
find them and extrude them a little bit so they are'nt molecule thin.

That's not a bad idea... It would be pretty cool to have a map centered around a huge crater and one of the rovers. And what would really be neat is have a drawinfo dust devil swing through! But the best idea that I can think of are sandstorms with blocks of red bullets (it would take a lot) flying towards the playing field, and you have to go behind a rock or mars rover.

...and if you try to drive over one of the rovers, it kills you and says "Don't hurt Spirit!" or something to that effect
The thing I like about the moon map is that it makes jumping tanks more realistic. That always bothers my dad...
