PZ flag - a possible upgrade to its abilities

I've been having an idea about improving the PZ flag, and the other thread about PZ flag worlds had me thinking.
A lot of people think that the PZ flag is entirely useless, and on many arenas I have to agree.
What if PZ "zoning" was tied in to your jump key, so instead of jumping on that key you toggle in or out of the phantom zone. That way the flag would be amongst the superflags - not so dependent on the teleporter positions. It would also give the PZ holder incentive to not camp in those positions.
You would still be vunerable to SW, SB and other PZ tanks in the same zone as you, plus your zoning into normal space still makes you vunerable to sniper shots, so it won't be impossible to kill you.
But if people still think it would make the PZ tank too powerful (and I'm edging to agree), what if it could only zone back into normal space with the jump button, after which it turns back to a normal jump and you are stuck in normal space until you re-zone yourself through a teleport?
