Sig - does it work the opposite way? So can I just type apply "noricochet" or something along those lines to an object and keep +r? Or does it have to be "ricochet" and no +r?

A map with +r will make all objects have ricochet. Therefore the only way to have ricochet per object/mesh face is to turn off ricochet and enable ricochet on everything that requires it.

You can use group/define to simplify this, however. You'd put supported objects inside a define, and then apply 'ricochet' to the group instance.

1 more question actually - is there a way to enable ricochet on the perimeter wall if you disable ricochet?

I would create a fake perimeter wall for that.
