2.0 has your new standard objects.
booleans would just cause the same increase in polygon counts, as everthing has to be made into triangles anyway, booleans is just another way to do it, why not let a real editor do what it's allready good at?

Actually i don't understand the discusion, whats so hard about spending 2 hours reading one of those really good blender tutorials or workshops to get started with a powerful and good 3d modeler available for a lot of platforms?
Why would one want some one line drawing tool if you can also have something really useful?
