What things do you do to trick them?
...and u just gave away ur secret lolHere's a trick:
When facing wings get above ground, any building is fine. Dodge them until they are on the ground really close to you. When they jump, you jump forward while shooting. If they stay put in the jump they are killed by your first bullets. If they jump again, they are killed by your later bullets, since you jumped forward.
This used to work all the time for me, but my good opponents have caught on

I waste peoples GM by quickly going behind a building the moment they lock on and fire.
On Laser Mania when our team is about to cap I jump up with our flag and they go for me and normally my team mate gets what i'm doing and goes for the cap.

It's always handy to get as close as you can to a GM and protect your teammates by blocking his radar locks. Or, run circles around him and try to draw his fire, depleting his shot limit.
Also, I figure if I manage to draw 4 laser shots or 3 GM's and get killed, it was worthwhile. Usually, except against opponents who know how to lead a target well and fire a nice spread, I can draw at least 15 SB shots. Even if I'm destroyed in the process, that's at least three kills I've saved unwary teammates.

Sneaky trick
Sometimes, if a tank is paused, and I get a stealth flag, I will hide inside the paused tanks "bubble". Other players nearby won't notice me untill they get pretty close.
A tactic, I've found useful on Missle Wars is to hide behind the wall, lock on with a GM, jump and file at the peak of the jump. usually I'm behind the wall before any incoming GMs get to me.

glipnir, this is an ooold topic bud. Over 11 months since the post before yours was written
Anyway, might aswell add something. My way of tricking someone or a Team is to (on MissleWars) grab a ST. Quietly leave my base (not with guns blazing), and sneak up into their base. I then shoot about 2-3 people ON THE WAY OUT so when they spawn they haven't a clue where I am. You see them fireing off SW's at eachother, quite funny Now, in about 5mins when they think your're gone, they tend to leave their base after your sneak attack. That's when you go in and take their flag. It Works

You might know. On GMWars, I grab G, then wait in my base. When someone comes close....BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM! That discourages people from comin. Also, STing, then suddenly SWing the whole base works.
The Pen is Mightier Than the Sword.
Okay, you get a Bic, the orc gets a long sword.
He cuts the Bic in half.
Then he cuts you in half.
Oops, I meant quarters.

Sitting below it or to the side works well too. Sitting *in* it means they can shoot in and hit you easily. Of course, um... WHY am I giving you guys ideas on how to camp? Naughty me. *slaps* Shame.
Anyway, if you want to find out my very few tricks, play me a bit. 'Nuff said. I'm not going to give off my tricks here for you guys to prepare for combat against me. That is top secret information!

When the enemy is on a building, I'll get really close so he can't see me. He will just focus on the screen and shoot any moving thing. Then I just drop my flag and jump a little bit after. His or her reflex will be to shoot when they see the top of the flag. If there aren't many shots on the server, I'll jump on the reload. Even with many shots, the other tank is understanding what's happening... too late

Whatever happened to Boxy... saw it a few weeks ago, since then either it has disappeared, or I'm not playing enough BZ lately, most likely the latter...Anyways I usually will Hop on a building usually one jump from the ground, scout out some tanks battling it out (someone is sure to jump) and just wait for the kill.
