That's still a problem to me:
I want only one bot, whose name is registered. Like Trop-Bot.
With Solo, i get one bot, who gets kicked by Nagware plugin.

That's a regular client set to run Roger.
I use local registration to give it privledges, not sure if that's what l4m3r does.

Neither does my Roger autopilot bot (on my rabbithunt). I think there's something about leaving it up for a while causes that to go away.
A "-solo" type bot cannot be on without the parent client and would have the "01" at the end of it's name.

JPT, please answer the following, all will become clear...
Is it for your server?
What OS do you use?
Can you compile from source?
Can you compile from CVS?

I use Win XP, but i can switch to Kubuntu or Debian, aswell.
Compiling from source is possible.
Compiling from cvs is possible, too.

I believe that any player who joins AFTER you enable Roger will not see the [auto] annotation.
Been tested.

I think its the same with NR sometimes, the [auto] is annotated for you by your client when he recieves the signal that someone went roger. It's not part of the name as send by the server.
Nice would be an option:
bzadmin -roger
But then you would have to add a lot from the bzflag code to bzadmin.
mistake

Let's annoy the developers to add a -autopilot or -roger command

no.
let's not annoy the devs. they are very good to us, they give up time and effort. and we shouldn't annoy them.

ok.
But i started a topic in 'Enhancements' .
a simple -autopilot command isn't that complicated as a 3D drawing.
