BZF prob on XP: BZF loads but never shows up, process @ 99%

Hi gurus... Another wierd one. BZF was working perfectly on my XP Pro laptop (normal Centrino, 1GB, 1.8GHz). XP bluescreened one day, normal recovery...

But now when I load BZF it starts, never shows up, but the process manager shows it running at 99% CPU usage. I have to kill it with task manager.

Help, I need my BZF Fix!!!!! I know it's not a BZF issue, redownloaded and reinstalled. Same result. Something in windows is whacked. Anybody have any ideas? All other Windows apps run OK, no issues.

I went back to a restore point from a week earlier, that didn't help either. HELP!!

Nevermind... I looked through some posts and realized that the config.cfg file is not removed upon removal and reinstall of BZF...

So I renamed it, and reinstalled, and <ta da>, it's all working again. What entry in that file might have caused the symptom, I have no idea, nor do I care.

I can kill you all again BWOOO-HA-HAAAaaaa.... !!!
