When i go to find server, the list of servers is blank!

Post by Joop »

When i go the find a server it goes to the next page where it tells you about the server and which one you want to pick

But it never finds a server. The list is just blank and my comoputer will search for hours, maybe not hous but for 20min, and a list of servers still wont come up

I have dial up, but i don't think that should make a differerence.

I can also start a local sever and go into it but my friend can't get into it.

What can i do to get the list of servers so i can play bzflag?

Are you behind a http proxy? you can check it in your web navigator..
bzflag is unable to access the list server if you are behind a proxy, because it requires another ip and port (for the proxy)
for a quick ref, read this:
http://www.bzflag.org/wiki/NoServersFound

Also you can try to run the bzflag client using this command and options:

Code: Select all

/bzflag -list http://my.BZFlag.org:81/db/
Of course, you must type this in a command console. If you are using windows perhaps you must write the full path for the comand if bzflag.exe is not in your path.
