I don't know if this is the exact right place for this, but on my server i've seen people kill their teammates just for their flags. I think this practive is evil and wrong. If your teammate has a really good flag, either help him keep that flag or just mind your own business killing tanks.
I can't stand it when i have GM or Laser and then a teammate that I think is coming to help me fires a shot at the last second, sending the flag into the air, and claims it as an accident. THIS IS NO ACCIDENT! IF YOU ARE A VICTIM OF THIS PRACTICE, TELL THE ADMIN! and don't do drugs

On Viper's server all the good flags disappear after being dropped anyway... Which sucks most of the time, but at least I know no one will be stealing my genocide anytime soon. Then again, a teammate used thief on me when I had geno just yesterday.

team flag stealing
although there has been no clear consensus
for a rule on this... i do kick people who
chronically steal flags from teammates
"especially" when they keep saying sorry
it was an accident..now if they actually shot
you first to get your flag thier gone in my estimation..
most people look on it as a bad thing but not all...
if it was very clear you were going to die by SW
or an ST was behind u i do show some mercy to
the player....this would also make it advisable
to make sure your admin'ing ion observer mode
rather then trying to play and admin then you
posiibly could have a better view of whats happening...
if someone is shooting at you with regular bullets
i would be less likely to allow the flag stealing
you could've have escaped with reg. bullets.....
this is just what i have seen since the steal flag was intro'd..
its just a "house" rule though kinda like the old
bzflag ethics for elite players...not really clear
it should be enforced but some do...
its been likened to team killing in previous conversations
here....all though some disagreed. i think there was a poll
too if i am not mistaken and it was pooled to be the same
as teamkilling i think...
EDIT: okay there is no poll...goto policing i made one there
