The following thread is merely a simple index of threads and postings relating to all things BZW. (Very much has to be added, please do not comment on this. If anything is incorrect, please let me know via direct message. Many thanks.)

That wolf listed above never really worked, Here is the successor to the wolf which did have success. The Velociraptor Animation using LOD. You have to join as a player to see it because observers don't get the LOD effect. It was broken, but I fixed it.

I want to add Trepan's LCD clock. But I tried loading it into bzfs and it no longer seems to operate, no idea why not.

WAIT ONE MINUTE! HOLD ON HERE! If you look at the link to Spazzy's LCD clock above, in that forum thread, this link appears.

When clicked, a .zip file downloads which contains THREE DIFFERENT LCD CLOCKS ! ! ! Actually, it's three bzw's that have to be merged?

Now the question becomes, does anybody have more links to files inside Trepan's noshow folder?
I know there was a volcano that I really, really should have /saveworld'd. Is that in there?

I found the volcano, but it's a lua script and shader for BZFlag 2.99.x, so it wouldn't work on 2.4.

With the help of Blast and the Wayback Machine, I was able to see what is inside Trepan's noshow folder. But only up until Feb 2009, You could do the same. Not nearly as much good stuff in there as I was hoping, here are the highlights. The first two are EXTREMELY interesting.

Trep was still around and adding stuff to that folder until at least July 2011? Here is some stuff found by grepping logs. Thanks again to blast.

I did not bother checking to see if these are in abandoned 2.99 codebase. (sourceforge?) They probably are.
It is possible that I'm stepping over wire with the licensing requirements. In my defense, bzworld.lua contains this

I did forget to mention that most of the time, the thread author is the prefab or map creator, but it's not always the case. (So please check the threads for specifics on a release. )

One smaller note: There tends to be confusion on what can and cannot be done in maps/bzw and what can and cannot be done via the game server/bzfs. (You may be able to find it in the Help: Server Setup and Administration
