Assuming 1 world unit is 1 real world meter, some of the buildings on HiX are pretty big

Putting HiX in perspective
Re: Putting HiX in perspective
Oh...impressive size comparison. It's as usual: Size matters. ;)
Fortunately for the players' wallets, BZFlag tanks do not need a gas tank refueling.

Re: Putting HiX in perspective
Did you scale the tanks relative to the buildings or are they at normal default size? If the latter, then that would definitely add credence to the "1 world unit = 1 meter" hypothesis (although, I always assumed that to be true anyways).
And the lesson for tonight is:
Never underestimate the ability of a newb to expect instant success and cry "cheat!" when they don't get it. Don't hate the newb, just give them plenty of learning opportunities.

Woah, we are some badass high-jumpers, if that's the case.
Just calculate all the energy and force released in order to jump to such height so smoothly and relatively quickly.
However, I could argue this 1 world unit = 1 RL meter theory.
*Erh-em* the grass *Erh-em*
The grass is "a bit" too big, if that would indeed be the case, heh. (Don't worry, I didn't miss the point, it's a joke from my side)

The G-forces of those jumps are something awful, and people with sensitive stomachs should only play pillbox and duc.Sub wrote: Just calculate all the energy and force released in order to jump to such height so smoothly and relatively quickly.
