Might want to also make the images link to themselves. At least at 1024x768 screen resolution, the wide ones get cut off.

Re: Some Ducati League Statistics for 2010 (and overall)
It seems that activities almost reached zero and suddenly it relived in September/October 2009 ... What could be the event that relived the activity ? Oh wait.. could it be the "Angry Kitties" team ??
THANK YOU ANGRY KITTIES !!!!!

Great job, red-der! Many thanks to you for all the information plus all the time you spent gathering, analyzing and putting into a form we can read.

Re: Some Ducati League Statistics for 2010 (and overall)
2010 had 1564 matches
2006 had over 1600 matches.
Now i think 2006 didn't have 15-20 min matches, there was only 30 minutes matches, 1600 matches that were 30 minutes play is awesome.
Ducati sure isn't dead, but it isn't were i would like it , 1-2 more teams active in ducati would blossom this league and it would surpass 2006 for sure.
Thanks red-der for submitting these statistics for us to see!!

Re: Some Ducati League Statistics for 2010 (and overall)
Especially that last match with Angry Kitties was played in 2009 ;->
Anyway, Cerberus and Sacas did great job, and I'm sure they still have reserves to play more, just need to activate some team members..
I'd like to thank my teammates too - Noah's ark was created at the end of February and we were 3rd active team this year!

Re: Some Ducati League Statistics for 2010 (and overall)
wow, top 5 teams for activity: saca, cereberus, stud puppies, VBZ and Noah's Ark. Of course, anyone that matched helped to keep the league alive....let's not lose sight of that. It's never just one or 2 teams.
Special thanks goes to all matching players! Keep up the good work!!!
TY red-der for the time put in bringing us this info neatly packaged. Nicely done!

Re: Some Ducati League Statistics for 2010 (and overall)
yes yes...but remember Angry kitties just had a short life (1 month ). And when this team was there, almost all the matches were played by its players. Also, before Angry kitties appeared, activity was almost at zero. That is a fact. It is why :
I THANKS all the oldies of ANGRY KITTIES who RELIVED the league.
honestly? have not you ever heard that Angry kitties relived the dead league ? Just admit it and let thank all his oldie players who are currently in saca, vbz, cerberus, etc ... It is not because you wished to terminate this team that you have to pretend it had no impact on ducati because all could tell you that in the little amount of time this team played, the activity rate increased until the sky and now you get only the fruits of its activity. I just cant stop to think how much active ducati would be today if jealousy of some people just didnt yield to terminate this WONDERFUL team. But sincerly, i do not know why you always deny such facts? I just notice activity grew with the birth of ANGRY KITTIES and that this was so powerful that 1 year later, we still feel its side effects .... And sincerly, sacapunta was there long time before this regain of activity. Saca was even there when activity reached zero. So, logically, it is not sacapuntas that brougth activity. The only event we all can see in september 2009 is the... ANGRY KITTIES
So, let go... dont be such in anger and let thank ANGRY KITTIES !!!!!!! In addition, I would like you to be honest with your stats and the comments you can do with them :
Angry Kitties played 117 matches in 1 month
Sacapuntas played 741 matches in 22 months ---> 33 matches per month
Cerberus played 716 matches in 20 months --> 36 matches per month
Vbz played 594 matches in 100 months --> 6 matches per months
So, yes... thank you redder with your stats it is obvious HOW much ANGRY KITTIES was active and WHY it has so much effects until nowadays and finally, ANGRY KITTIES WAS JUST 4 time more active than sacapuntas YAY!!
Also, now i have a suggestion.. We should rename Ducati league with ANGRY KITTIES League... dont you think? It would not be unfair
cheers

PS: with stats, you can say what you want..it is a matter of how do you present them.

Re: Some Ducati League Statistics for 2010 (and overall)
Muri, no one is minimizing the impact of TAK.
TAK was just one team in the league...one team alone can do nothing by itself. It still needs teams to match against. The month it existed, it matched a bunch, yes. No one denies that. Any new team breathes a flurry of activity into the league as the members are excited to match and other teams ready to meet the challenge of a new team. There indeed was a breath of excitement in that month of activity.
Teams, over the years have brought life to ducati. We have yet to see the likes today of anything close to the rivalry between How, The Barons, Zees, and VBZ. Those were exciting times, great times...as I'm sure qd, bamf, Chestal remember. click click boom and i talked about this the other day.
But the fact remains that many other teams contributed to ducati's activity AND continue to do so today. Lets not lift one team above the others when in fact it's several teams that keep ducati alive.
Again, I appreciate all who matched over the years in the league and do not limit it to just one team's effort.

This thread was solely meant to give some statistical facts about the past year in Ducati League.
Please stay on-topic here, don´t use it for personal animosity.

red-der. I am very sorry to read that you feel "animosity" in this topic. At least, not from me, I hope ?
Let be clear, I love you red-der
and I am very happy that the league is active since it is the only one I like to play (u noticed, right?)
VIVE DUCATI (and Angry kitties)

ohai, awesome stats red, tyty.
Re: Some Ducati League Statistics for 2010 (and overall)
Very interesting. You'd think that the activity peaked during the good ol' days, but it really increased until 2008.
They propably requested the deletion right after this match.[HoW] Hell On Wheels vs. "Deleted Team" 31-1 (30 min match)
Re: Some Ducati League Statistics for 2010 (and overall)
Good work redder, nice to see those statistics.
Btw: is it possible to find the stats about how many matches each team did (also from deleted teams, i know from the teams now who are still in the teamlist on the site you can see it)? And maybe the number of matches from each team for each month or year.
And another interesting one is from each team (also from the start if possible) the number of 30 20 and 15 min matches. I dont know if its possible to find those stuff out without to much work? I fear for the second but you never know.
On the stats, its a bit pitty that you couldnt do the 15 and 20min matches some years ago, cause now the number of matches vs the number of matches in the past is a bit hard to compare (for overall activity) cause before only 30min matches were possible.

Re: Some Ducati League Statistics for 2010 (and overall)
some statistics are available on site (like overall matches, opponents stats, activity stats). It works also for deleted teams, however they are not available on list directly (you can find them as opponents of other teams). Activity stats are shown by months.
Match duration is not in statistics, but is it's saved in database and could be added (maybe will be in nearest future

Re: Some Ducati League Statistics for 2010 (and overall)
@Birdie: I will add some more stats in the next 8-10 days, like:
-absolute number of matches each (even deleted) team played
-number of 15, 20, 30 min matches
-timelime for each team (years/ months, matches), but not sure how to post that, there have been a lot of short-living teams
-maybe overall time played / year (month), so we can compare the absolute time spent in ducati
I have / had some more stats prepared, but I did not want to have this thread look like math class

Re: Some Ducati League Statistics for 2010 (and overall)
So in 2006 (1962 matches were played)
This was at 30 minutes a piece.
so 1962x30=58,860 minutes were played.
2010 (1564 matches) A large amount of these matches were 15/20 minute long.
So lets say half of those matches were 20 minutes, and give the benefit of the doubt.
1564/2=782 matches
782*20(minutes)=15,640 Minutes
Lets say the 2nd half of the 1564 matches were (30 minutes) which would be the remaining 782 matches
782*30(minutes)=23,460 Minutes
Now lets add the total minutes up from 2010
15,640(matches that were 20 minutes long)+23,460(matches that were 30 minutes long)=39,100 Total Minutes of matches was playing in the year 2010.
58,860(2006 total minutes)-39,100(2010 total minutes)=19760 Minutes were more played in 2006.
Now the minutes for 2010 are just a estimate, but I know for a fact less than half of the matches that was played were not 30 minutes in length.
With that being said it goes to show that 2006 was very active and that this graph can be a tad misleading since it didn't calculate the match lengths.
But still great work to say the least
And this is just food for thought ...

is it just me or are you numbers wrong osta?
The year 2010 had 1269 matches?
According to red-der 2010 (1564 matches)
You have confused me
And 2010 was half as active as the year 2006, since minutes mean everything

Whatever has happened afterwards, The Angry Kitties was one of the best teams I've ever been in, but for sure the most wierd and funny. The teampage even had an "irc gate"
