Plugins on Ubuntu server

Post by 18Wheeler »

I installed BZFlag on my Ubuntu server, but I experience several problems. Please help me to solve them.
When I use /loadplugin, /listplugin or any other plugin command, server answers that there's no "loadplugin" command. On Windows-based server everything works fine. How to make plugins working on Linux?

You need to compile BZFS with --enable-shared to use plugins

So I have to remove the packets I have and compile from source code?

Thanks a lot. My next question is:
For example, I have compiled and installed BZFlag from source. Which commands do I have to use to remove it later? apt-get remove? or what?

From the source you compiled, you can run 'sudo make uninstall', assuming you ran 'sudo make install' to install it.
