So, I want to be able to help the uprising bzflag map makers and the uprising community. I'm doing hosting again. I know there's plenty of hosters out there, but I'd like to extend my hand in the best way that I can. I know how busy it can be for server owners and map makers.
Hosting
I have plenty of space to host on. My global groups will be loaded into every map that is hosted, but I can also load your groups as well (Don't expect to get admin or cop status on my groups from hosting). When you send me your map, just send the map with the options in the map, I will take care of the plugins, config, etc...
Cops and Admins
Like I previously said, my groups and your groups will be loaded into the config. Don't send me a map and then ask for admin privileges on my group, that's not what I'm here to do. I'm here to extend help for map makers.
Phantom Allies
This is a new group that Shadowspectre made and he has allowed me to recruit/take it under my wing. It's just a small group for any bzflag player with any kind of skill. Nothing to fancy, just another way to get more "under the radar" players names "out there".
Quality or Quantity?
I don't want to flutter the list serve more than it already is. Spend a good amount of time on a map. You want people to constantly have fun on your map, not get tired of it after five minutes of play time, so take your time, there's no rush.
I need help with map making!
Myself and a few other members are always willing to help on irc. We are generally available on the bzflag irc channels, along with other channels. If need be, drop me a PM, or a forum topic on the bzflag forums. That's what they're there for.
I look forward to working with the future map makers!

Re: Phantom Allies Hosting
Its great to see another host up in our community. Since some are slacking, or just spending less time with hosting, its great to have fill-ins. I wish you and the PhantomAllies group much success and give out a big Thank You!

Re: Phantom Allies Hosting
aussie?
Re: Phantom Allies Hosting
Although that would be nice, it wouldn't exactly be one of the most popular servers, no matter what map it was being hosted.LittleLep wrote:aussie?

Re: Phantom Allies Hosting
The server I will be hosting on is a very good and a high quality server.
Nobody should have any serious problems with playing.

Got an IP to ping and an exact location? Seems kind of vague without any further details..

It's not my IP to give out.
Dexter, I'm sure you know what I'm hosting on.
