Re: my incredibly simple map made on ibzedit
Then you should add at least 1 screenshot. (Server owners don't have the time to open/run all maps that were posted without a screenshot. Secondly not just few people don't know how to open a mapfile)fluffy mcduff wrote:will somebody please make a server 4 it?
If the only issue is you just don't know how to make a server:fluffy mcduff wrote:i dont know howwww

But be prepared, it's not a simple and fast done task.

Zhero is the only person here that's really helped in this thread
So, I hope you do consider what he has presented to you.
Becoming a map maker, is very simple if your willing to learn.
Although, creating a map that attracts a resonable amount of players to on a regular basis is on the other hand, very hard.
As a few map makers, like myself, have found out
Do test your own maps though and as you learn more about the structures of maps, perhaps stray away from ibzedit and check out some more complicated programs like Wings 3D and or Blender
When I say complicated, I do mean it.

1. You put the map on a server (could be your computer running bzfs)
2. Connect to the server with you BZFlag client
3. Find a nice vantage point (Generally using observer and roam) and hit F5
4. Get the screenshot out of your "Screenshots" folder of your "My BZFlag Files" folder

Slightly above the submit-button is the "Add an Attachment"-button, in order to attach files (for example screenshots)

First of all, no one must host your map. It helps to get your map hosted if it has good quality and is playable. (and also to the hoster's liking -given)Constitution wrote:Probably not, unless you can find it on the server list, seeing as he hasn't said so here.fluffy mcduff wrote:DID HE HOST IT????
