Easy Targets new map

This is the new map that I have just created, its 3-shots no jumping, no flag, 4-team ctf... i have attached screenies. pls give me some feedback...

well easy.... first of all if this is "rico royal" it needs alot more walls to rico off of.... it looks empty and well kinda bare in the flats seperating the bases...needs more walls.... BTW do you use blender? or bzedit?...

I agree, the ricochets itself aren't very good either. A good way to plan a ricochet map, is to see where bullets bounce off of, and all the possibilities, then start finding good ways to make those work and eventually create a nice map that takes skill and strategy than some mere luck.

Also, aim for brighter screenshots. If everythings dark, hold down + until it gets brighter

From what I understand, the people who have responded are merely saying with a name like that, there needs to be lots of rico possibilities. You can either provide them with more, post it how it is, or simply make it the shame (er, did I say that? 'tis a lisp!

) style pillbox uses.

The map itself is very well made. They just want more ricos because of the name... heh.

ya, i was thinking about that, and i'm gonna change the name, so as not to be misleading... i was in a rush when i made the name, cuz my sis had to use comp and i wanted to post quickly, so i thought of a cool name and just jot it down... sorry for being misleading peeps

You're still double-posting.

I'm not going to start a thermo-nuclear war over who's going to host this, but I do like your map and am willing to talk with you about hosting it. I share a dedicated server on a 10Mbit pipe (which is currently hosting both Missile War 2 and Bloodbath2).

Anyways, anyone can host whoever they choose. Just because one person gets hosted by another, doesn't mean they're obligated now to host whoever wants them to host.

I don't host just any map. I host maps that I think have potential, that I like personally, and that I think others will like. It's nothing personal at all.

As I recall, all I asked was that you post screenshots of your maps so that I don't have to go to the trouble of starting bzfs and go poking through it. I don't have a lot of free time, so I go for maps that the creators took the trouble to post screenshots of. Easy Target did so, and I liked what I saw. End of story.

Looks like you finally did post screenshots of your map, but I haven't talked to you since then. Furthermore, I did offer you a place in my rotation/map change server, which you rejected. If you want to discuss it further, feel free to get in contact with me.

no seriously, you just need to post screenies so that a person can see the entire map, use the tips for screenies that i gave you earlier, that is guaranteed to get you more potential hosts

I have made a few changes as you all will notice, I have moved over some boxes and deleted some, so that people will actually have to dodge and rely on skill, also i moved boxes to create greater ricochet possibilities.

EDIT: sorry about the dark screenies, i didnt know how to make them lighter, i remember holding +, but i dont know when to do that so i apologize ahead of time.

Nice map ET, like said above it does have potential it's just so damn hard to create a map that will remain at the top pages and appeal to everyone.

Again, your screenies are looking a bit dark. Remember to use the +/- key to change the settings accordingly. Otherwise good job Easy
