Bzfmaps.net Now Stable Open and Ready

Hi all,

The old bzfmaps.net server had memory problems.

So I decided to scrap that computer, and switch bzfmaps to my battery backed up Ultra Powerful Main Server.

The model of the server is a HP NetServer E 800.

Which has over 200G hard drive space and lots of ram !

PM me if you want a ssh account to host bzflag servers and your maps!

Also if you Just want a map hosted PM me the config file the map file and most importantly its name and I will host it!

If you don't send a config file with the map I use my default config
file. (attached)

Also feel free to take my default config and modify it to your purposes, it always helps to have a example file.

If you have questions or feed back please submit them here or Pm them to me.

The server is still under construction faze so it may be a day to a week for The fallowing services to get up and fully configured:
( http, exim, sql, php, and irc )

This server at the moment is ready to host users and bzflag servers.

Yes that might be so but Still most hosts don't give out free shh and hosting.

Also most people need a place to start for instance r3lax used my server to start blood bath. Which was a huge success it over loaded my band with, it was then moved to a more capable " Paid For " server.

My server is a good place to start. If you hit success and need to move to a shared band with server go ahead. My server is here for the people who want experience and a place to store there maps and host them.

I am offering all my services for free and as a jumping off point for the people who may one day hit huge success.
