BZ Version 1.10.8
Bringing Back the old stuff!!!
I was just wondering if anyone wanted to expirience 1.10.8 again with me. I will need someone to host on it, because the only 2 servers there (both Pie in the Sky) dont work. If you want to play, heres how to download:
Mac OSX
Microsoft
GNU/Linux
If you want to play, just check in with me, and we'll set a date!

When it came to the release of 2.0, why did such a large portion population not want to switch over?Whats so good about 1.10.8 that you want to go back to?
There is something really satifying about playing the old version... I don't know what it is.

I know lots of people that diddn't switch because they diddn't like of all of the graphical enhancements.ts wrote:They didn't want to switch to the newer version because 2.0.0 was buggy and the much better graphics had higher graphic card requirements.
Sure, there were many that diddn't have the capabilites to run it, but I'm fairly cirtain that's a minority.
/me expects to be blasted for being totally wrong.

1.10.8? That's prehistoric. I'm just fine with all the servers we have on 2.0.8. Thank you.
Beware! I'm going to clone myself and spread those clones all over the world!

Yes, it appears in the SVN (http://bzflag.svn.sourceforge.net/viewv ... /branches/). You just need to download it from the SVN and compile it yourself.

1.7 is available on the SourceForge download site as well. No need to build it if you're running Windows. Also, I'm not sure if all of the versions actually work on current versions of Windows. Server side commands weren't even implemented in some of the VERY early versions of the open-source'd code.
