on the actual teleport. Zoom in, you should see F for front, and B for back in the editor. One of those letters is white, and another one is red (in BZEdit, anyway).

on an unrotated teleporter, X+, or "east" is the "front" of the teleporter, and X-, or "west" is the "back" of the teleporter. The teleporter rotates counter clock-wise, so for a teleporter rotated 90 degrees, the "front" will be pointing to Y+, or "north". for a teleporter rotated 45 degrees, it would point northwest, or the X+ Y+ corner, and so on.

good news, the map is playable by searching for bunker, its the only map up with that name, YIPPIE!!!! there are still a few small glitches (spawning is totally messed up, but at least its not on top of the world weapon anymore... correct X&Y, really wrong Z), but altogether all is well. have fun! and expect updates to the map in the near future.

That's a cool map, I like the jumpers and the base layout. You must add more things along the sides and middle it's way to open. I like it :D
and it's up at hosting.bzexcess.com port 5181

So you're a cop?
I liked the base layout, make a few buildings of some sort along the sides and middle.
I still can't find how to get to the top part with the SW going off, may have missed something.

it is to get to the other base, you need to wait until it goes off, then drive for the other portal like a bzflag player with sw is after you. :D

oh, and there is an accidental "safe zone" on the top platform, on the corners the SW wont reach you, and as long as there's no GM at the moment, you'll be safe.

argh, I'm playing bzflags so much, that I have to stop my self from typing "n" before I start to type, which I failed to do above....

Heh, just edit the post and remove the 'n'. I can't wait to try the newer version out, sounds like fun :D I love map secrets :)

but, I think the fun part is the "n", its funny!
I was hoping that it would be up by now, but, its a free service, so its plenty good anyway! (thank you blast!!!!)

on a side note, ever see what happens when you exceed 2000 in altitude?

BZFlags goes "um.... does not compute!"
I'll post a screen shot later (the tank you will see is nerfmaster37 falling twice) and its not just me, nerfmaster37 had the problem too... (note: we were on my map, which has something like 999999 wing flaps) heh, jeff was on blue team and he said "I see red tanks on the radar, but I don't see red tanks!"... he then figured out we were flying. :D

ahhhh... good times, cheers,

When I was really high up on Mari Iijima's Airfield I got to around 3000-ish and they my screen started to blur quite badly. 999999 it a bit to much for wings flaps. Try a max of 10.

...or try to put a clear box same size as the map somewhere around 1600-2000 :)

And make it so it doesn't show up on radar. I know you can I just don't know how.

Wow, that's awesome! Another BZFlag player! On the other note, I like your map update, the bases are way better and I like the two tele options.Still need to fill the map up or make it thinner by removing the walls or just adding massively thick walls so players don't F5. Also, raise the physics jumper 'z' variable 5-10 units up and slow down the X or Y speed 20-25 units, that way you don't jump, hit the opposite one and spring back then fall short...and look! Back where you started from :P
Over all it's great start :D

I may just make the platform about 10 wide and have a 12 size SW blast, but the platform would still be 50 long 10 wide and 80 above the ground. so if the SW was 12, it will bee way less devastating to the other team, also, I think I will implement the you die if you TK, so the server will be more fair.
what do you think? these and other minor upgrades will go into version 2.1(by monday I hope); and major structural upgrades will be in 3.0 (next vacation... who knows when that is... :? )

for SW flag (on the platform)"

zone
name SW_flag
position 0 0 80
size 1 1 1
zoneflag SW 1
end

This is for a platform that is in the center. Change "position" if nesessary. Also make sure you have -fb in options (-fb is for "flags spawn on buildings).

as far as "die if you TK" goes, it should be a default setting, but still make sure there is no -tk in you options (-tk lets a tank "live" after TKing).

For future reference, here is a site that helps alot with setting up server variables: http://groupdb.links-clan.net/bzfs_conf.php
