You can't and it doesnt. You will be able to use text that always faces the player in version 3, if it ever becomes reality. This will be the option, it's only available in the text object.
billboard # orients the text towards the screen
The mummy in the casket is a drawinfo LOD animation. It does not always face the player. If that's what you want to do, I'll talk you through it. It's actually pretty easy. The hard part is finding an animation that will work well for the purpose you want.
